On May 22nd, I was extremely pleased to be one of the Councillors supporting Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club’s request for a grant of £4,750 to help create a footpath around the sports ground.

As the police pointed out, this money is vital to facilitate a safe pedestrian route up to the Ballards Ash Sports Ground.

It’s important we do all we can tomaintain public safety and to encourage sport in the town.
