After complaints, David Wilson Homes have acted very swiftly to resolve the issue of a trench that had filled with water near houses at the top of Cloatley Crescent.

Residents were concerned that the trench could be dangerous with children playing near it.

The land has not been adopted by Wiltshire Council and was therefore an issue for David Wilson Homes. After speaking to their Construction Director, the issue was resolved the following working day. The trench has been extended and a temporary fence erected to safeguard children.

Colin Smethurst, Construction Director, also reaffirmed David Wilson Homes’ commitment to providing a play area for children now that the conservation issues on that part of the site appear to have been resolved.
